World Expo 2010, Shanghai, 19 – 25 September 2010

The Pacific Business Village and Showcase will run in the first week of August 2010, Shanghai, in the New Zealand Pavilion. Details of arrangements are currently under discussion.

New Zealand is an active participant in World Trade Expos and has a reputation for producing high
quality Pavilions.

For the 2010 World Expo, the New Zealand pavilion will also include a special promotion of Pacific
business, some of which will involve Pacific-Kiwi business owners and their partners from the
Pacific islands region. The special promotion will run for a week and add to the wider theme of
Pacific business and growth.

Details are currently under discussion and are expected to start with an official opening; a focus on
Pacific goods and services; island performances and tourism presentations.

A full scale Pacific Festival will be staged with ethnic island themes through out the week.
